When it’s so cold and rainy, I literally cannot recall how it feels to have the warmth of the sunshine flooding the Retreat and the garden. So on Tuesday, I flung open the door and the Retreat became my workspace. Obviously there was a splendid cup of tea and the last precious cake made by my friend Jill. Of course you can’t see that!
In the outside world, Cadwell is advertising a Vintage Motorsport Festival on Saturday 15th June. Love this because lots of the vehicles make their way through the village before and after, stopping for refreshment from either the Post and Pantry or Wards shop.
