We are so lucky to have beautiful places to visit on our doorstep! One of them is Baumber Walled Garden, just a few miles from here. It is a favourite for inspiration and a gentle stroll around its lovely garden ‘rooms’.
The beach huts are an unexpected find in the middle of a walled garden . . . . . Until you see the spectacular pond and ‘beach’. The Japanese inspired pavilion was the inspiration behind our ‘cube’ at the Vikings Retreat. My favourite exhibit this year is the cornflower meadow around a traditional Romany Caravan. The Walled Garden is also a beautiful Wedding Venue with quirky areas for guests ! The planting is inspiring and there is always an idea to take away with you!
The Walled garden also has a thriving and bustling cafe with superb cakes! Plenty of Gluten free and vegan options too!
